I found CrossFit in late 2010 and fell in love.  Shortly after that I got my CrossFit Level 1 and began sharing my passion with others.  My favorite part of coaching is watching people accomplish things that they didn't believe were possible.

Liz Cole

 I found CrossFit in 2010 as a change from my typical gym routine and was immediately hooked.  I love that all workouts are constantly-varied and never boring! The community of Crossfit is something I’ve come to love. I have made so many new friends (of all ages!) with a like focus of getting to the best level of fitness possible, and always at a pace that is appropriate for each individual. Because of CrossFit, my fitness, strength, and conditioning are far better in my 50s than they were in my 20s! People say it all the time, and it’s true – CrossFit truly changed my life!

Kate Grise

I started CrossFit in 2012 when my brother in law(Kyle Stark) opened Ft Wright CrossFit.  After I recovered from my first class I knew CrossFit was going to be something that I loved.  I love the atmosphere CrossFit provides for physical activity, and the platform we have to increase awareness about healthy eating! Getting to the gym everyday is important, but healthy nutritional values and habits are even more important! I love watching members support each other during workouts and provide emotional support for nutritional habits as well!

Zach Watts

 I attend Northern Kentucky University and will graduate in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science.   I love CrossFit because how different it is than a traditional lifting program.  I also love how the MetCons are constantly varied so you have no clue what the next workout is. It’s awesome to see people coming in consistently and then one day seeing them smiling from ear to ear because they just smashed their old personal records or they performed a skill that they couldn’t do in the beginning.

Niki Howard

In spring of 2010, my neighbor invited me to the opening of his new CrossFit gym. I was hooked from 3-2-1. I couldn’t do a lot of the workouts as RX’d, but I loved the challenge of the movements and the fact that i didn’t have to be in the gym for 3 hours! My perceptions of fitness and what being fit looked and felt like started to evolve. My mindset changed beyond the scope of the gym to other parts of my life. I started to appreciate what my body could do. After hearing great things about the Starks and Ft. Wright Crossfit, I sent an email. I finally found a gym that had the training and the coaching that I wanted and needed! I want to encourage, inspire, and coach our members to their fullest potential!

Jonas Russell

In December 2014, my daughter and wife started at Ft. Wright CrossFit and I started to attend with my wife on Saturday mornings doing the open community WOD. Eventually I was completely hooked and started coming regularly in 2015. In January 2016, I started eating Paleo and that is when I started to see big improvements. CrossFit is the only thing I have done since leaving the Marine Corps that fills that void of working hard and genuinely caring about one another. CrossFit has become such an integral part of my life that I wanted to help others have that same experience so I went for my level 1 in 2016 and I am thrilled to be able to do that at Ft. Wright CrossFit.

Kyle Grise 

I found CrossFit in 2012, basically because I was forced to try it when my brother in law opened FWCF.  I quickly saw that this was something that could not only change my life, but the lives of others as well.  I got my Level I Certification in 2014 and have enjoyed coaching ever since.  My favorite part of coaching is watching people smash goals that they thought were out of their reach.
